Our Ode to the Tyler/Perry Courtship

The people at Heritage are terrified;
Tyler, our friend, has been "Perry-fied."

David can no longer discuss paintball,
'cause Tyler thinks "Perry" - that's all!
Mrs. K has said with a moan,
"I have a feeling that I've been dethroned."

Mrs. D is worried about Tyler's weight;
she's contemplating sending brownies by a crate!

Maggie says, with a roll of her eyes,
"Emily's obsessed, and she's had a good cry."

Tyler used to be politically alert,
but his pictures reveal he's now a flirt.

Lisa & Tyler used to talk music,
now Lisa's decided he's utterly lovesick.

When long distance courtship jacks up the bill,
the guys at the phone office get a big thrill.

Tyler's boyish passion for water guns passed
to David - who got what he wanted, at last.

His beloved dulcimer is literally "Dusty,"
and his musical skills are getting rusty!
Will he still be team captian of Capture-the-Flag...
or will he be packing his Oregon bag?!?!?
