So we bought a pig. Awwww.....a cute little adorably squishy squealy future bacon....mmmmmm.
Name's "Slim Pickin's"...courtesy of Jess and I.
He's extremely intelligent looking, very very vocal, quite opinionated and decidedly stinky!

Today, my mom came up with the idea, "Hey girls, lets dress up the pig in a santa outfit and take some pictures before it grows up!"
"Sure thing!"
As usually happens in our family, you start a photo shoot of one little thing, and it explodes. With this one, it started with me saying, "Okay...I'm putting on a santa hat and I want a picture with that pig!"
Then "the boys" joined us.
UH-OH!
Meet Marshall and Tex. Marshall is the long established mini-horse-protector...very good at his job...takes it quite seriously. And Tex is his not-so-serious-mini-horse-protector-in-training.
They bring smiles and trials wherever they go.

People ask if we're twins...."no, I'm 19 and she's 15." |

Oh, and by the way, I have no idea how the chicken got wrangled into this.... |

Don't you just love Christmas time?!?!?!?
Those are great pics!! I don't think I could let myself get attached to a pig when I know he'd be my dinner one day, though, lol. He's way cute!!
