And the craziness lives on.....

So we bought a pig. Awwww.....a cute little adorably squishy squealy future bacon....mmmmmm.

Name's "Slim Pickin's"...courtesy of Jess and I.

He's extremely intelligent looking, very very vocal, quite opinionated and decidedly stinky!

Today, my mom came up with the idea, "Hey girls, lets dress up the pig in a santa outfit and take some pictures before it grows up!"

"Sure thing!"

As usually happens in our family, you start a photo shoot of one little thing, and it explodes. With this one, it started with me saying, "Okay...I'm putting on a santa hat and I want a picture with that pig!"

Then "the boys" joined us.

UH-OH!

Meet Marshall and Tex. Marshall is the long established mini-horse-protector...very good at his job...takes it quite seriously. And Tex is his not-so-serious-mini-horse-protector-in-training.

They bring smiles and trials wherever they go.

When Tex met the pig, the first thing he did was slap it in the face with his paw. Needless to say, Slim the Pig was NOT thrilled. Started screaming...and you have to hear this guy scream to appreciate that statement.

I set all the settings on the camera and stepped out from behind it for once!! Thank you wonderful Mom for taking these! I personally think it is fun to be in pictures....and for some reason I'm always the one taking them! So I had a blast.

People ask if we're twins...."no, I'm 19 and she's 15."

Oh, and by the way, I have no idea how the chicken got wrangled into this....

"I can explain....." there is a pretty famous miniature horse trainer who always, always wears his hat cocked to the side like that. So I am doing the "Mike Look." Honestly...I'm not joking! Look him up...Mike Rosauer...

Chico The Chicken was done...

Don't you just love Christmas time?!?!?!?

  1. Those are great pics!! I don't think I could let myself get attached to a pig when I know he'd be my dinner one day, though, lol. He's way cute!!
