Exciting!!!!!!

Back in September, when I went to Ft. Worth to help the Rowlands at the World show, I definitely didn't get to take as many pictures as I would have liked. But when their 2 year old stallion took the show by storm and won everything out there, there was no way I wasn't going to take a few minutes and snap some pictures.

This picture is my favorite from the whole show, so when their graphic designer asked to use it, I was thrilled!! She designed a stunning layout that is a full page ad in this next issue of the Miniature Horse World magazine.

I am so excited to get to see this in print, and am so humbled that they chose to use it!!

    2. No - say it isn't so. Poor chap - lets hope for your sake he isn't armed.....

    3. Well, he normally is, but this time, he happened not to be. We interpreted that as divine approval on our schemes!

      :D

    4. Confound that meddlesome interfering government regulation....

    5. Is that supposed to mean that he would wish he had been armed????

      :P

    6. Yes, YES, YES! He should have been armed! For all he new he was about to be ambushed by some country girls in basketball shorts on his way to retrieve his humble written correspondence from his dear dying grandmother, how was it written you ask, by his dear old aunt whom was taking the kindest care of his grandmother in her last days. For shame. Unless it was David, in which case. Serves him right.

    7. Well, he actually was armed - as soon as he sat back down in my truck, about 30 seconds before the ambush was sprung, he had within easy reach his handgun and his rifle. So, he was only unarmed before the trap was sprung. It's a good thing he had pretty good nerves, or Waddell might have hit national news for the first time in it's history.
I kinda doubt there was any aunt or grandma at all - In fact, he was the one doing all the mailing. No receiving took place.

    8. Josie, I was NOT in basketball shorts....it is entirely too cold. I was cozily bundled up in my hoodie and jeans!

David.........30 seconds *before* the ambush?!? Really?? The ambush had succeeded when we ran past you in the parking lot and you NEVER noticed!!!

    9. Ya, David you FAILED your attentiveness test, big time.

    10. I said before the ambush was *sprung*. Not set.
Keep calm and carry one - works even in ambushes. :)

  4. Absolutely stunning, Lisa!!!!! When I saw this I was reminded of Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Woo-hoo! God is good all the time and He has given you an awesome gift! Love ya, Mrs. G.
