What I've done this week...

We got a new stack of Bermuda hay in yesterday morning, so last night, "the boys," Tyler and David, came over and helped us stack it all in the barn. The past couple times we have stacked hay, we time ourselves and keep trying to break our record. A couple weekends ago when we stacked Alfalfa, we moved it in 28 minutes. Last night, we had it all stacked in 20 min, 33 seconds!!! World record.... :)

After we stacked it, we came up to the house and Anna had made meatballs, pasta, salad, and biscuits! We ate out on the porch and had a lot of fun.

Today, we got pink leg wraps, browband covers, and more as decorations for the Parada del Sol parade this weekend! We have pink roses for plumes in the bridles, and we are all wearing pink shirts and hats with a pink sash. Here is Jessie with our mare Dream all dressed up this afternoon.

Then, later today, my friend Leigh Anne came over for a piano lesson which I was a little nervous about because I didn't know what it would be like teaching a good friend. It actually went really well, and I am not nearly so nervous about teaching her now. We hung out at the barn with the baby horses and then watched the trailers for Legacy's new movie, Friday at Noon. 1. Yes, the hay was quick. But then we still had to clean up, put the carts away, and move the old bales of hay. Plus they had pushed some of the bales off before we started the clock. But, I admit it was quicker than last time.
