“Never forget what Jesus did for you. Never take lightly what it cost Him. And never assume that if it cost Him His very life, that it won't also cost you yours.”

Rich Mullins & Pictures

Recently, I have fell back in love with Rich Mullins' music. I left off listening to his music for awhile, but just in the past few weeks, I have started really listening to it again. The more I listen, the more I love it. He has the most original way of looking at things and it is so refreshing.

One of my most favorite quotes from him is from his song "The Love of God." He says "There's a wideness in God's mercy I cannot find in my own...it keeps me glad to have been caught in the reckless, raging fury that they call the love of God." What a beautiful description!

The other day I was looking through my pictures, and I found a couple pictures that seemed to go perfectly with some of the quotes from Rich Mullins' songs. So, I started editing and then I found more pictures, and I got totally carried away!

Some of them turned out really neat. Most of the quotes on these are from Rich's songs, but the last three are Scriptures. I just liked the pictures and verses kept coming to mind that were perfect.

Enjoy!!! If you click on the pictures, they will pop up bigger for you, and they're so much better in big form!

These next three pictures don't have Rich's quotes...they're from the Bible :)

  3. Wow, very nice, Lisa! I've never listed to Rich Mullin's music, but these quotes/pictures are really nice. I especially like the first, fifth, and first Scripture photos. I made the first one my desktop background :)

  7. You know what I think of them, but then again, most could guess that with me. Still listening to him; only difficult thing is, which songs of his should I play at my wedding? lol

  8. I'll Carry On!! You told me years ago that it is a perfect song for a wedding!

    Creed is always good, too!

Are you in Arizona? We miss you!!!

  9. Yes, I agree Lisa! I'll Carry On is a great one. I want to use it their slideshow, but they have other songs :)

I know, I'm answering for Tyler, but no, he is not in Arizona, but supposed to be! Job stuff didn't get all completed. He might go this week, but he is going to wait until tomorrow sometime to call the company. If he doesn't go this week, he will go after the wedding and might take Perry with him.

Oh, we are moving to Idaho the end of February! Did you know that?

  11. Ha, on the one of my backyard, I can see where you photoshopped out the swingset legs. Not bad though! I wouldn't have looked for it if I hadn't noticed that there was no actual swing set, just swing. Although you can still see the swinging bar in the trees....
    :) Nice job though!

David...I actually wasn't the one who photoshopped it - Mom did :D
