  2. Hilarious! It had never occured to me that anybody would 'surf' behind a horse! I guess it works :)

  3. You girls are too much! That looks like so much fun and in the heat it must have been incredible. Who needs to go out of state when you have been given such ingenuity right there at home. You are the definition of creative.....I am wondering if Jesse was behind this one? L0L Mr. G, said....oh my goodness...only them. He wondered what your Dad thought about the grass ( special commodity ) and then he said....nope...he didn't mind. Mrs. G

  5. It is SO MUCH FUN!!!

Mrs G - actually, a fellow mini lover was doing this out in her arena, so my mom bought these two wakeboards at a yard sale for $5. We tried it in the arena, but it didn't work out too well, but a guy at church gave Jessie the idea to try it in the irrigation. Voila!! :D Dad said the grass out there had such a good root system that there was no hurting it ;)

Mrs C - All three of us girls did it, but we couldn't get Mom to try :) It's a blast. Macy would just love it.

  6. Now we need to figure out how to have the Az summer version of a snowball fight, and we will be able to cover all seasons, all terrains activities at the same time!

  7. That's great!!! We have to figure out how to do that with Hercules!! :)

  9. I would have never guessed!! Did you have a large downpour of rain?

  10. David - hmmmm......we'll have to really put our thinking caps on for that one.

Savannah - Hercules would probably have a blast doing that!! He's a fun little horse.

Justin - haha...we seem to make you laugh a lot.

Paul - rain? What's that? LOL I wish! We never would get that much rain in a thousand years. That's flood irrigation. Every two weeks, we completely flood our place to water all the grass and trees. That's what you have to do when it doesn't happen naturally :)

  11. I've never heard of that! do you flood rather than just watering because of time restriction (i.e. you only have water rights for a short period of time)?

  12. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!! Who'd a-thunk? I'll bet I could get my big dog to do something like that.....
On second thoughts, maybe not, he's afraid of Jack's catnip toy.
Guess I'll just have to do it with y'all sometime :)

  14. Paul...that's so funny!! It's the only way I've ever known to get water to thirsty trees and grass :) Rain...novel idea. Watering via irrigation is much cheaper than sprinkling or other methods. It comes from the lake and comes down irrigation canals that border our roads. When it's your turn, you just block the water so it comes into your yard for your allotted time.

Jordanna....now that would be funny. Kind of like the dog sled races...just in the water.

Sadie...it IS fun!! I don't think the snowball thing will ever evolve ;)
